I have been a professional storyteller for more than 30 years, including almost 14 years as a reporter and editor for Sports Illustrated. And while I continue to practice with the pen, my passion lies behind the lens.

My love for photography began in the late 1980s when I begged my parents for a camera. (Luckily they relented and bought me a Canon.) I still have that love for taking photos today. Every time I open an image for the first time I do so with the excitement and anticipation of a 7-year-old unwrapping a gift on Christmas morning.

I want the images I create—whether they are action shots from a soccer game or an individual portrait in a park—to generate reaction and emotion.

So if you need someone to photograph a sporting event, take individual or family portraits or headshots or shoot anything that requires a camera, let’s connect.
